It’s painful to write a check for replacement windows. It’s NOT a fun purchase. But our 22 year old windows, which were original and poor quality to begin with, were failing, so this purchase was an absolute necessity. I’m happy to have found Window Depot to replace all 30 windows in our home.Window Depot absolutely deserves my 5-star review for the following reasons:1. As others have mentioned, they do not try to upsell you on their products. Actually, they offered multiple, creative options for our consideration.2. Like everything else with COVID, there was a wait. It was 4 months. I received regular updates via e-mail.3. Their installation crew was outstanding. They were polite, considerate, professional, and adaptive to my requests to move to different windows when I had conference calls for work. I was advised it would take 3 days for install, and the project started and finished with zero adjustments to that 3-day timeframe. The crew cleaned up after themselves daily. There were scuff marks on the drywall below each window, but that is unavoidable considering the effort employed with this type of installation. (I had touch ups that I needed to make behind the painter I used in the fall anyway.)(If Window Depot reads this review, please relay my thanks to George and the crew and also, my sincere apologies to the woman I spoke with at the office about a week before the installation. I’ve had multiple renovation projects completed in the last 9 months with some not very pleasant experiences, and I was irritable about the start of another. Still, that was no excuse for my impatience.)
