Former U.S.DOE “R5″ Program

The Most Efficient program by Energystar actually replaces the Volume Purchase Program (sometimes referred to as the “R5″ program) that was started by the U.S. Dept of Energy. This program formerly recognized window companies that could produce a window with a U Factor of 0.22 or less. These highly insulating windows had U Factors that out-performed standard dual pane windows by up to 40%.

Our MOST EFFICIENT Windows are even better that the “R5″ program, which used to be the gold standard.
